About Maeve Rose

Capturing the Essence

I’m an American artist living and working in Rome, Italy. I began drawing at fourteen, studying portraiture before later creating large-scale mural paintings. For over ten years I’ve worked primarily in pastel, which has become my medium of choice. My recent work focuses on transformation, light, and vivid color from my studio in Rome.
